Basic Rules
General Rules and Conditions
By booking anything from VeganisRetreat (massages and events such as workshops or retreats), or by subscribing to our newsletter, blog, or social media pages, you agree to our ethical principles and terms. We may update these terms from time to time, so please check back frequently to stay informed of the latest changes.
Use of Services
You are required to disclose any health conditions you have during the pre-booking interview and subsequently in the participation form that may impact others or your ability to participate in retreats and practices. This information is confidential between you and us. Please review the "Ethics" section regarding safe practices.
You pay only for the services, facilities, and practices outlined in the program. Anything else is a matter of personal choice between two or more consenting adults of legal age. Nothing implied or suggested on these pages should be construed as an inducement to pay for anything other than your time and companionship.
You are responsible for your mental, physical, and emotional well-being and safety when deciding to participate in any part of a course, event, or massage. Any activity you choose to participate in is considered to be between consenting adults. We assume no liability for your well-being or safety, whether during a course, event, or massage, other than the program terms and your health insurance.
You are responsible for your own safe practice throughout all courses, events, and massage sessions. This means that by agreeing to attend a course, event, or massage session, you agree to adhere to safe practice guidelines, whether sexual, mental, physical, or emotional. This means not exposing yourself to health risks or putting yourself in situations where you feel you could be harmed or injured emotionally, physically, or mentally.
We reserve the right to terminate any services at any time if we have concerns about your well-being. This may mean you are asked to leave the course or event, or the massage session cannot take place or continue for these reasons. In these cases, no refunds will be issued.
If you attend a retreat and decide not to continue, you will likely be asked to leave the retreat. Observing group sessions, even if you choose not to participate in a specific exercise, is considered part of the program. If you decide not to continue but wish to remain on the course premises, this may negatively impact the group experience.
Ethics
We adhere to the highest ethical standards in the industry. By signing up for the Terms of Use, you also agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this section.
Liability
Our company is responsible to you for any services provided only within the approved program. It is your responsibility to ensure your personal safety and compliance with the program terms. You must ensure that you are mentally, physically, and emotionally prepared to participate in treatments, events, workshops, or retreats. If you have any concerns, you are responsible for your own safety and should therefore seek appropriate advice before participating in any individual or group activity.
Personal Behavior
We will not tolerate any form of aggressive or inappropriate behavior toward us, site staff, or other group participants. Any such behavior will be dealt with immediately, and if not addressed immediately, you may be asked to leave the course, event, or massage session. If you are asked to leave the course, no refunds will be issued.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your booked participation in our course or event, refunds for meals, accommodation, tuition, etc. will be issued in accordance with the terms of the program and booking agreement. However, you may sell, transfer, or gift your ticket to another person (subject to mutual assessment of its suitability).
If the conduct of a course or event you have booked is delayed, impeded, rendered impractical, commercially impracticable, illegal, or impossible as a result of any unforeseen circumstances beyond our reasonable control ("Force Majeure Event"), we will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing our obligations to conduct the event. Force Majeure Events include, but are not limited to, acts of God, major natural disasters, war, major political unrest, diseases and epidemics, government interventions, directives or policies, and other circumstances beyond our control.
